Mysterious Credit Card Update
Well, I received the first set of statements for the mystery card yesterday. Apparently, the card was closed because the membership fee was not paid in 2003. However, that's all the information I got. I'm curious to see if they're going to send me a copy of the original application. Hopefully, the 2001 and 2002 statements will arrive today.

True, true. I'd really love to find out who opened that card and nail them for it. Maybe I will, too. Who knows? However, the statements did not arrive, so if they aren't here today I'll call the company back and find out why not. ^.^

Apparently, they haven't come because they don't exist. I've now been told that the card was never used...

Sort of. It's still giving me a negative on my credit report. The only activity on the card was when they tried to charge a membership fee in 2003 and it never was paid. So that's bad...
